Your Utility,
Your Choice
Times are tough enough for rural families and businesses without the added stress of expensive electricity and rising costs.
Supply chain disruptions and tariffs are driving up costs from our power provider, but your electric cooperative is working hard to minimize member impact. Member choice through multiple rate plans, co-op generation of lower cost wind, solar, and battery energy storage are being studied in detail.
Innovative thinking and action is required today to maintain affordable and reliable electricity.

ABOUT JIM
With six years on the MVEA Board, I will continue to stand up for policies that benefit our members.
I’m a 26 year Air Force veteran who served as an electrical research engineer, fighter pilot, program manager, and combat planner.
I built a small business as a building energy analyst, helping home and business owners save money through smart upgrades.
